The born-again experience brings a believer to a relationship with God but that relationship needs to grow. Our growth in Christ is only possible as we cultivate our relationship with God. It is our responsibility to cultivate our relationship with Christ, therefore if we remain babes for longer than we should, it is actually our fault and not God’s.
