Once you hear God’s word on any issue, you have heard the last of it. God’s word is the last that can be said on any issue, regardless of what it is. People who think God’s word on any matter is subject to human deliberation and concensus or approval, are badly mistaken. We may have heard from so many  on a matter, but the final word has not been heard yet until God is heard. Whatever God says on any matter is the most important on it. It is the definitive word.

God’s word does not know impossibility, because it is over, above and beyond time, space and matter(Ps 119vs89). No situation constitutes an impossibility for it to turn around. It was God’s word that called Lazarus back from death after four days. It was God’s word that restored health to the invalid man of John chapter5, after thirty-eight years. Therefore, nothing in time, space or matter limits God’s word. With God’s word any humanly impossible circumstance can be turned around within seconds.

Only through His word does God work. Where God does not speak, He does not work. God’s word is the basis of His work. God considers His word so adequate for all things, that He will do nothing about anything apart from His word. The Biblical  account of  creation demonstrates clearly that God works by His word(Gen 1vs1-3, Jn 1vs1,2). Let the world and everything in it fret, wait until you hear from God on any significant  issue before making a move.
We are only encouraged to confirm that what we have heard is indeed God’s word. However, when verified, we are not  to argue or doubt it. We should never attempt to impose human limitations on God’s word. It is not for any human being to determine how God’s word will come to pass. We are simply required to listen to God’s word understand it, accept it, retain and persevere  with it until it manifests as a physical reality. We should always remember that God is infinite and not finite like us. Shallom.
